Looking For

Original band, loosing their beloved and respected drummer in the fall. Would like to start rehearsing a new drummer to make for an easy transition to step in once he departs. We play Alternative, progressive, experimental music. Though we have structured songs. Should be able to jam or risk take live. Looking for chemistry. Should have own gear & able to commute between Broward, Palm Beach, & Miami-Dade county & want to travel out or within the state every couple of months or so. Tend to play Fridays a few times a month. Looking for a positive attitude & a musician that can compliment the music & wants to have FUN. Bio

The band formed as a duo in May 2012 as an Americana band. Marvin Ray Hawkins fronts the band and sings while playing incredible solos on the upright bass while Michele Woofter plays various synths, & a theremin. Once they added Drum pro Shaun Bailey from New Jersey his amazing playing has changed the sound dramatically moving them in a more experimental and progressive nature. Newest member Aerik Nagel plays devastating guitar with his erie melodic melodies, & mind gripping solos, whom now completes the bands unique sound. To most it is un-describable originality. The four perform a tight and appeasing original set in which will be catered to the venue. Their versatility allows them to book any genre. Their originality and professionalism has landed them gigs from opening up for National acts at Revolution & the Ft. Lauderdale International Film festival. Koffin Varnish is currently recording & will release their music soon.
