Looking For

LEAD GUITAR W/BACK UP VOCALS.
No Metal, Classic rock, 60's/70's/80/s
We are THE ROCK MACHINE “The Rock Machine Band Inc.”. We are looking for a Lead guitar player.” A Sort of superstar” to play those flagship leads & licks, Our genre is 60’s, 70’s classic rock, some 80’s. I’m John D'Amico the founder. I play multiple keyboards, synth & sing. Check me out on Bandmix John1625846 to get a taste of my talent (just me playing alone a few years ago) .
ABOUT US: We are all very professional, dedicated to the music and come prepared, we are looking for someone with the same mindset and experience that wants to , and can produce the accurate signature parts of the songs correctly, to sound like the music you hear on radio, youtube etc.
NO Drugs or ego maniacs. We are a team effort.
A FEW REQUIREMENTS! Many lead solo’s need to be “note for note” (like “Time” Or “Rikki”) , although some can be freestyle maybe in the center (like Aerosmith solo at ending, or While my Guitar Gently Weeps, White room, ) We pride ourselves in sounding like the superstar legends. If you have a good ear, and put in the time to practice , take time to listen to the “tones” of what your playing, not just the right not notes, our songs will sound like what they are meant to sound like. You just need to put the time in , it will fall into place when we all do our part.
Also a plus, if your able to sing, or sing harmony backup.
THE MUSIC: We are a cover band that sounds like a tribute band performing Rock classics. We are dedicated to performing popular songs that other bands aren’t playing, maybe due to missing Keyboard- synth - organ -strings- parts, or not taking the time, or these songs are harder, and this is NOT JUST JAMING! . So, put in some dedicated effort with us.
** Notice the genre we are doing. We would also like someone who likes and appreciates these song types. We are covering artists like Pink Floyd Dark Side of Moon, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Moody Blues, ELO. The Doors, Steely Dan, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Elton John, Clapton, Zepplin just to name a few.

REHEARSAL AND GIGS. We are rehearsing once a week to give everyone the time to get their parts down. Rehearsal is usually set for Sundays from 1:30 to 5:00. We will be rehearsing at John’s house in Holly Springs / Woodstock, great set up with recording 32 tracks at rehearsal, we are then tweaking sounds for our web site and launch to obtain gigs. Our goals are to work our way up to playing larger gigs, staged, and or ticketed , or corporate events. We want to be putting on more of a quality show, to receive the respect we are due, and the larger money, not to play for scraps, as people drink and talk over us, so… we have to sound great.!
EMAIL us through band mix, or direct at [email protected] to exchange emails.
Check it out! If you like what you are hearing, get in touch with us as soon as possible, we can give handful of songs from our sets , you can pick 3 or more for an audition. If not interested, all the best in your music endeavors!
