Looking For

I'm looking for people to jam with who are open to seeing how the mandolin can add to "non mandolin" genres of music.

Bio

For the first 18 years of my life I listened to exclusively hip hop and reggae. Eventually, I joined a band around 2000 as a MC. It was a live band situation so I got to hear the guys talking music theory and I thought it was cool. I decided to learn mandolin as I was listening to a lot of Dropkick Murphy's at the time. 20+ years later I'm a rapping mandolin player.

Influences

Mid 90s hip hop (mainly east coast stuff), Ren, Jethro Burns, Pogues
